Tanzania

East Africa

With more than 10 million unreached people, Tanzania is a fertile field for the gospel. While almost a third of the people claim to be Christian, only about 8 % of the people are evangelical and, in some regions, such as in Zanzibar and in the largest city, Dar es Salaam, Muslims far outnumber Christians.

Among the evangelical communities, there is a significant need for biblical and theological training for the indigenous pastors. Timothy Two is partnering with local Christian leaders to reach these pastors with the training they need to minister to their people and, ultimately, extend the knowledge of the saving gospel of Christ throughout the nation.
